Tubby Rollerskater

I just started skating Clairemont Skatepark and am loving their wood bowl. I ran into a friend of Irene Ching, who's name is Poppo (sp?). The guy is the one in the yellow helmet and rips. He is also a vertical rollerskater, but has not done it in a long time. Irene, you seem to be famous out here. Please let me know when you are in San Diego so we can skate together. Oh, and the reason for my title is because I seem to skate like a friggin football lineman. lol

	I'd love to skate that bowl/half pipe with the spine. I see all sorts of potential for off set transfers; since you do not have to go straight at it! Also, that hump in the bowl could be used for transferring to the end of the bowl. Tricky but doable. Thanks for the vid.

	Biff, there is no doubt you would do something crazy in that bowl. That was my first spine tranfer in over sixteen years. Even though they are easy, they are pretty scary when you first try. I had a bet with my buddy that I would do it first so I had to go for it. I hope to see Irene skate that park because I am sure it will motivate me. Irene, will you skate with me? lol ;)
