Now you two can have beautiful skates!!!!
Oh wow, I wouldnt spend that much for a generic boot lol. I just need a boot anyways.

My heel is about a size 4A narrow. For my 265s, I had to send them back to get padded narrow, then I had to add heel grippers on top of that and sew in a rear strap so my heels dont slip. I dont think you realize how small my bones are. :-) I'm just looking at boot options as my oak streets are splitting at the seams and one day I wont be able to repair them. My ebay skates have layers of padding in them to keep my heels in and arent comfortable either. I have yet to find a pair of skates that fit my feet and dont cause me problems. I might have to pay for custom one day and keep them for the rest of my life like Duke lol, but for street its too much money.

I found out those boots fit wide, so no good for me. I also have a split last foot, my forefoot is square so narrow toes dont work for me.

If I got a cheap boot, I would go synthetic too. Dont ask, you wouldnt understand lol. I might look into the Diablos or something. Right now I actually dont have any income, much less a poor income. Waiting.... So not buy anything....

I'll be back soon. Trying to get an xray. I think my arm is OK. If I cant get one, March I'm coming back regardless. I'll just be careful awhile.

  I bet that the sole is glued onto the boot. If so, then do not leave it in the car on a hot sunny day! The skate could come unglued.

And those plates look like the poor performing Probe. They could work marginally well for someone weighing less than 100 pounds, but any normal sized adult will leverage against the kingpins and cause the plate to flex. This will cause the skate to NOT turn when you lean.

It might work for someone like Claudine where the weather is mild and her weight is very low.

This is all from looking at the pictures. I could be wrong on one or more points.

Otherwise, I like the idea of multiple color skates to choose from without the requirement of a $60 up-charge and 8 weeks lead time! And those Fugitive wheels will work well for someone who is lightweight.

 I'm so poor right now, wonder if you can just buy the boots? But one day I want a pair of boots that DONT hurt my feet and my feet dont slip around. My heels are so ab-normal, I'm sure I would have to get customed. Lots of money. But really, the reidels last YEARS if you can fork over the money.

I dig the colors though. Yes, I am the flyweight here. I get away with crap hahaha. ;-P

 They can be yours right now, Claudine, for 165.99!! On sale at newderbyskates.com!!
(What makes your feet so hard to size, Claudine?)

* Rebel Leather boots (nice leather)
* Sure-Grip Probe Dupont Zytel reinforced plates
* Sure-Grip Aluminum Trucks with 8mm axles
* Sure-Grip ABEC 7 bearings (super fast)
* Sure-Grip Fugitive Wheels in any color you want
* And the best part is it comes in Red, Blue, Pink, White, Green !!

Btw, Tim, I've bent many an axle from Sure-Grip!! Those things are throw away trucks!! Might as well press out the stock axles and replace them with something more heavy duty immediately!!

Also, good to hear you pipe in, 'Uni'-Skater!

  WOW! Those are Fug'n Cool!
OK, 1st: Biff, precisely which "two" (see thread subject) do you refer to about having those beautiful sk8s? LOL!
2nd: I skated basically stock speed sk8s with NYLON speed plates that I further distressed by boring 2 holes into each so I could mount my grind plates onto 'em. I weigh about 160, live in Las Vegas & am pretty hard on my sk8s. I NEVER broke a plate. I DID have boots start to separate from the plate ( at the rivets of course) but only after 3-4 years of HARD usage & the boots were already worn to a point of unsafe from kneeslides by then anyway.
Of course, if you ride a sk8board truck set-up you'd wanna get the boots BEFORE they mount that rollersk8 speed plate on 'em with those damned rivets. Claudine & Ben would be cool with the stock set-up though. :)
Are those the "two" you'd meant, Biff? LOL!
Too bad they don't have 'em in Purple. I'd be compelled to order a pair.
Hope the New Year's off to a good start for all my Roller Homies (& Homettes).
PEACE....
&, of course, keep rollin' on 8!
Jay
