Great session..

In that way, our governments are alike! Ours did the same thing.

I had a month of no skating because of weather, vacation, sickness, etc....

I went to New Braunfels and skated with San Antonio Tim a week ago Sunday. Unfortunately his nephew, Trey got hurt. Last night I hit the Round Rock park. It feels so good to be skating again!! As soon as I get my skate legs more firmly back under me, I'll post some new videos.

For now, I'm concentrating on life. New fridge (old one died). Dentist on Monday. Car needs repairs. Yard needs work. House needs new gutters. Blah blah blah. ....*sigh*

Skating with you Biff is always a pleasure, and this last session was also good. I can now see why you fell so much that day since you had not skated in many weeks! I am still looking for a possible Monday night session as soon as the finances improve a bit. For now, things are very slow. The car insurance had to be reduced last month to minimum liability, and I was unable to renew my health insurance back in October so activity at the park must be very conservative. My regular bills are coming due and there is still not quite enough to cover everything despite the cutbacks. Things with our customers seem to be improving though as new construction appears to have increased some lately.

Yep, you must keep up the home maintenance for sure! Especially the fridge since food is the most important need we all have.

Gee......thanks......I guess. :P~~~
(you weren't supposed to tell anyone!)

Fridge is now in and stocked. The city took away the old fridge this morning. We should get a recycling check from the city for $50. :D

I'm really sorry to hear that your finances are so tight! I hope you are able to endure and turn it around. I'll attempt to make it down your way for a skate soon, so that you won't have to travel up to Austin.

 Thanks!

A rink! I haven't been to skate a rink in ages!! I should go to one soon. I think that some of my fellow workers are talking about a skating birthday party coming up. Maybe I'll go do some circular skating for a change. :)

I'd like to have some more real cold weather. Here in Texas, our winter never really stayed cold enough, long enough, to wipe out the mosquitoes that will plague us all this coming summer. Boy, I HATE mosquitoes!!

Wow, you get paid for your old fridge. We have to pay to get rid of an old fridge. But our crazy government did pay people to throw away their cars and buy new ones!

I bought a new refrigerator about 2 years ago from Conn's. They took away the old unit for disposal at no extra charge so long as I paid for delivery. I also bought a new dishwasher at the same time. This all was a gift to myself for getting off the cigarettes.

There is a rink in Austin that has an adult skate session every Tuesday night. Trey's mother attends that one occasionally, though it has been quite a long time since her last session. I was planning to go with her one night last month, but she had some work come up that prevented it from happening. I was going to invite you, Biff, until the plans changed.

Congratulation on getting off the cigarettes! And on the new freezer, of course ...

Thanks, it was a long time coming. I just needed a little motivation to actually do it, and skating was a big part of that. I simply did not have enough stamina to make a short bowl run without breathing heavily afterward and maybe getting a headache too. That made the learning process much more difficult!

Home Depot will bring you your new fridge, take away the old one, and not charge you for either!! You just have to buy your fridge from them, and be in their delivery area.

Playland skate rink. I've been there before for adult night. Been years, though!! Let me know when you plan to go and I'll see if Holly and I can make it.

But ours did it first. I think I really understood that it wasn't only to support the economy but to counter the danger of deflation. In that way it was a smart move by the government since the would suffer the most from deflation. But it isn't good at all for the environment. And that's the point where I was really mad at them, calling the whole stuff an "environment premium".

I felt like it was a way to prop up the failing automotive industry. But I agree with your points.
