SKATE-EIGHT MFG.
I started off on Independent plates and trucks and after I broke those in half and could not get them anymore I bought some Tracker plates while they were still commercially available, then I was lucky enough to skate for Tracker for a number of years and fortunate to be able to acquire them for years after that. At some point out of desperation I tried to laminate my own aluminum/wood plates and they were horrible, then I cut up old skateboards but they were thick=high center of gravity. These plates that I have created with the help of my brother are the best thing I have ever had, they seem to be indestructible, they slide faster than ever and fit the full line of Tracker Trucks, the center of gravity is also lower than anything I've ridden. I would love to have some made custom for you!! Just contact me via email and we will get started.
Thanks, Brian N. Wainwright

That's a great new !!! Have you more technical details, like weight? As my current setup is about 3kg each skate, your monobloc slider/plate sounds very interesting!!!!

Cheers

Hi Zorg, Thanks, I am glad you like them! These are the proto-types that I am riding now and each pair will be custom machined by CNC. I do not have that info about weight but I will work on it and let you know as soon as possible. Thanks, Brian

My worry is that the slider looks like a hollow plastic that I would crack, or break quickly. Also, I'm finding that I want my sliders even closer to the ground.

Awsome to see you on here Brian.
If these plates are made of UHM whatever it is thay wont be breaking in a hurry as the stuff aint britle at all. They should put up with some serious grindage too.

Claudine, I have good some items which I consider my small "museum". But nowhere as well presented as my camera collection.

Yes, please let us know how much the plate/slider combo costs. I need to go look in my closet and sell more of my belongings lol. My legs want lightness!
