Hi Stevo,

: So the plates are plastice then?

That's true.

: I noticed there is an option for a 4wheel pack with slighly different wheels, do you kow anything about these? they look like conventional wheels from the pictures on the Vsk8 site, I assume they are slighly different.

The only picture of diffent wheels I could locate on the vskate site is in the demo section. As far as I understand, those aren't product photos. I agree that those wheels look more standard but they wouldn't fit on the axles that come with a normal vskate. Maybe they used longer axles, maybe they modified the wheels. For my part, I would like to attach softer wheels for the street and harder wheels for the ramp.

: Thanks for the help mate.

 Hi guys,

Am thinking about getting some Vskates shipped over to UK for trying out, Does anyone know if you can put standard wheels on these bad boys?

They look quite interesting so i'll probably give them ago.

How have you found them for grinding?

Keep on rollin'

Alas, you can't. It would be a definitive plus if you could. There would be so many wheels you could choose from!

I didn't try this myself, but I let Sven Schuhmacher try them out. He had no problem sliding with them. I wouldn't call it grinding since there is no metal to grind on their bottom. You rather can slide with them in two directions. Tilting sideways is also possible.

 Thanks for that Berhard,

Multi directional sliding sounds cool, I'll make sure I get well padded up before trying that out then!! ;0)
