I know my tricks are insignificant compared to others on this forum, but I am proud of what I can do, especially lip tricks, hehehe. I feel really tall standing on top the coping, its pretty exciting!

My camera just broke. The case that holds the battery's been cracked and duct tape wont do the trick anymore. But I'll figure something out. Not really many people around here to take pics of me but now that I can do this myself, I can connect the camera on the rails instead of my helmet with the gorilla pod and take a frame from the video for a pic, neat huh?

OK now I have to get a real handplant on film. I did a monkeyplant over a year ago and this is all I have. My arm is OK now as I went rock climbing, did the intermediate climbs and had NO pain so it should be all OK now. :-D I didnt know I would ever go climbing again!! I wanted to practice today starting on the mini but all the little kids were hogging the mini and were rude. I hope to go to Greenbelt this week and do the t-stalls and monkey/hand plants.

Hey Bernhard, I'll be 41 pretty soon, its really cool I can still learn new tricks!! I think this spring/summer I'll be cranking out a few videos that I can be pretty proud of.

You have every right to be proud of yourself, especially after all you went through. And your tricks are significant and your riding would be significant even if you wouldn't do much in the direction of tricks. Just take care of yourself and don't get hurt.

: I didnt know I would ever go climbing again!!

Isn't it great to regain abilities you believed you had lost? I didn't know I would get my abilities to play the guitar when I broke my hand and I did, woo hoo!

I'm so happy for you! Hereabouts there is no skating, since the weather is wet and cold. At least I got back my motor bike from the garage. It broke down three weeks ago and the clutch had to be replaced, but now it is working again. Yippee!

Ain't been able to skate much recently, as the weathers been pretty bad here recently. Can tell it's gettin close to winter.

Just wish they had an indoor park closer to me, or even a roller rink.

Same here: Weather has gone nasty and it's getting dark early. Well, I hope for some warmer perions during the winter season so we might go out and do a bit more than go for a walk. Closest indoor park is 60 km away, although I commute there for work every day. But I haven't been to that indoor park the whole yeat long.

I hope you both get the opportunity soon to skate again. I had a fabulous session today in Round Rock. I need to film more. Thinking of getting my own camera soon. Once I get my truck out of the shop, maybe then....

Oh, I just learned a grab on the spine and learned to go over the spine. I guess its not a big deal but I never went over the spine til recently and wanted to do the grab like my sculpture. I just got back into skating after almost 2 years off from my broken arm so happy I am skating and able now to learn new tricks.

Glad you are riding your bike but sorry you cant skate.

Yes, after being crippled up its exciting to do that things I thought I might never do again. Especially without pain. I still cant believe it and its more exciting now. Most others probably wouldnt understand til you lose it. I just hope this never happens again so I will progress but I will take caution.

Achieving your goals is always a big deal in my book, and i remember that the spine was something you wanted to do, so well done :)
