Wow, both Tim and you did a great job. You're really good with cutting that uhmw. Does it still take as much time as you mentioned before?

Good to hear life's good to you despite your injuries, Bernhard. Could you exchange experiences and trick tips with the other roller skater?

 Hello, long time no speak.
I've been very busy with being a nerdy hermit all winter, in the meantime the sun came back and I've had quite a few sessions already. The pool still loves me and I still love the pool.
The reason I quit posting here may be that I got confused when it merged with gravity. I just didn't get along with its interface, I think.
How's everyone here?

Doing great! Glad to have you back!! I also found Gravity to be a little difficult. Besides, this is the 'original quad' mod squad!!

Tim in San Antonio just built new skates, seen below. I also just built new ones (seen below Tim's skates)

Glad to see you again here, too. I also had a little session yesterday at Freiburg's big ramp. There where quite a lot of skateboarders there and, lo and behold, even another roller skater. So life has been good to me yesterday.

 Hi cephalopoid,

we weighed our roller skates against each other. Though mine are not light weight, his where even heavier ...

We had an extensive exchange about the vert skating scene in the south west of Germany. He is from Karlsruhe which is just 130 km from Freiburg. He is quite a bit younger than me but will hit 40 in the next days. It's a pity that he does not visit this forum, but hey: you can't force anybody to join the party.

It still takes time to cut UHMW and HDPE but I am getting quicker at it! Thanks.
