As far as I know, GEMA and YouTube still haven't reached an understanding. I searched the news-site heise.de for any recent news about this subject and there wasn't anything. I'm pretty sure they would report it if there were an understanding.

	Yeah, seems that nobody has complained about Vimeo so far in this forum. Probably they have a user base that much smaller than YouTube that they fly under the radar of GEMA.

	I heard that they were able to appease GEMA with a stance of "these videos are not for profit / artist videos" etc.. On youtube, videos can actually garner profits from ads and from mass viewings.
