Wheel Question
Thanks! Will these wheels fit on regular rollerskate axels? I don't use skateboard trucks.

: : Eventually I will need to buy some wheels. Any recommendations on wheels, hardness, and bearings?

In my experience, diameter is more important than hardness. So I very much prefer a 60 mm 95 A Kryptonics Shadow over a 56 mm 97 A wheel. I'd say: At least 95 A, big radius. No cheap bearings. SKF will be fine.

Thanks. I am noticing that most of the outdoor wheels are 78A and the speed skating wheels are 95A. Is there a difference with speed skating wheels? Can you suggest an online shop to buy wheels? What is SKF?

There are different shapes. I think speed wheels are narrower.

In Germany, Concretewave would probably a good option. I also dealt with Skates On Haight in San Francisco long time ago (ordered a pair of SwitchIt inlines from them). That was in the days before the Web, however.

: What is SKF?

Svenska Kullager Fabriken. A Swedish manufacturer of fine bearings.

Forgot about that ... probably not, but I don't really know.
If your axles are long enough, put spacers in between, that might work.
Bearing should fit though.
