As would I. You don't jump down those two meter, you just topple over the lip. That's much smoother. OK, when dropping a vert ramp, you often are in a free fall till you reach the transition. But the surface is still almost upright there. It will get discomforting when you go straight for the flat. But that's slamming.

Robert Chase: My elbow will not heal (30. Mar. 2007 03:06)
It has been 8 weeks and my last x-ray a few days ago shows the bone is not healing. I can move my elbow pretty well, but the doctor said I can't lift anything or pretty much do anything. I have a pair of skates I am dying to use, but there is no way I can risk having another surgery. I am so bummed! My doctor said I might have to get a device for bone stimulation. Sounds expensive!

Bad news! Maybe you should eat more calcium.

Anyway, I hope that your elbow will heal soon so that you can skate again. I've been skating the mini ramp in Kirchzarten this week. A nice small ramp. Smooth and fast.

Maybe it's small for a seasoned pro like yourself Bern, but for us newbies it looks pretty darn big. :-)
