Should I get these knee pads? (asap)
WIld Bill was extremely nice and said he would make me these Q pads. 1 inch thick, the cap is bigger then the minis, they are shorter then the singles. The others he said would be too big. Its either this or smith scabs which would go almost down to my ankle I think and not sure if they would fit. I am also getting the scabs gaskets. Is this a good idea, the PD? And how do you put a strap on the bottom so they dont slip? The cap just looks tiny still, but it might work for me. He will make recaps too. Thanks!

There should be a strap at the bottom. I really like my PD Knee Pads and they have lasted forever. In your case, I would definitely recommend trying something on so you get the right fit.

So yours dont slip? I think I'll get those. I'm trying on the regular pads first though. I do have very muscular thighs nowadays, thats for sure. so the knees might fit. Just I'm still short and they might go down to my ankles almost lol. Yeah, if they slip around or are awkwardly bulky, doesnt do me any good. I cant really tell til I try them on......

I'm close to being healed and ready to start sk8n again maybe this weekend! I rode the bike and lifted weights today so that felt good. I'm VERY bored.....lol.

I skate quads in Austin as a factory rider for Wild Bill of Pro-Design. I HIGHLY recommend his pads. I wear knee and elbow pads from PD. I find that everyone has different tastes when it comes to pads, so try your scabs first and see if that is enough for you. But if you are ever skating concrete parks, you will most definitely want his pads!!
