: : : : : I figured out youtube already. I have Flash, but is there a way to edit the video?
: : : :
: : : : With Youtube? I don't know. I never ever uploaded anything to Youtube. Probably because I never created a video worth mentioning.
: : : :
: : : : : Parts of it I would like to cut and join the videos. Or the sound.
: : : :
: : : : I suppose you need some video editing software on your computer. Sorry, I don't know much about videos. There are lots of people here on the forum experienced with videos, however.
: :
: : Oh, I have a mac, bummer. I dont see anything on it. Well, I'll just upload the vids until I figure out how to edit it. Just ignore my dumb comments lol. My videos wont be that exciting, but we are going to document each others progress. We are fighting getting old and are going to actually get better by helping each other out. When its done, I'll post them. Its skateboarding but you can see my favorite spot to ride!

I figured out most of it, just not how to upload it to the higher frames per second so its not choppy. Looking forward to seeing more videos! I'm taking it easy. Trying to ride my bike on my trainer but that seems to take work lol, so I'm mostly still resting. It will be another 2-4 weeks before I roll again. I play a little on my skateboard in my apartment, thats it. I still cannot rotate my arm, I'm worried. But the pain is slowly going down, no swelling now. My bones are straight. This injury scared me! So I will stick with the small bowls for awhile before trying vert again.

Since I'm out, I'm now designated the camera woman lol. I have some video of my boyfriend skating vert and doing a few tricks in the street section. :-D My camera really sucks for pictures, its the Nikon CoolPix. It takes 2 secs. to shoot the pic and if a flash is used, 5 secs to recover from that. So I tried the video out. It starts within 2 secs and its not bad, So one day I will want to get a nicer camera, but the video runs good enough.

My arm is hurting so trying to keep computer work to a minimum. I guess uploading it to U-tube is best? Let me know any hints please. The price of gas is too high for me to run around on this holiday, but I still need to rest my arm as much as I can for now so I dont want to build my own web pages for a few more weeks.

Hm. There are about a zillion CoolPix models. But by far the most digital compact cameras are slooow.

Speedy recovery! I know how you feel.

This forum integrates best with Youtube, yes. It displays the video weather you post just the URL or the HTML they offer for embedding and--best of all--it will be indexed automatically so you can browse the Youtube videos posted to this forum. Maybe some day I will rework the code so that it can deal with more video sites, but at the moment, indexing is only done for Youtube.

I will upload three of them and post links to it. Then others can see my favorite spots to roll! Greenbelt is the best bowl to ride around this area as far as I know. When I heal well I'll post videos of me skating. :-D But I cant risk my arm I need for work so I'll probably start out skateboarding on the street and easy rolling. It might be Aug before I'm really going at it in the big bowls again but I plan on sk8n til people laugh at how old I am lol.
