thanks for the reply,
yeah, i might've been overcome with enthousiasm that i found some new stuff to go on :) (you know how it goes, probably)

i was looking at some earlier posts and i read a lot of stuff on the sidestance, wow i never knew that was used so much, but how futher i've read the more i understand the possibilities. i've done he stance before, but more just to look cool while going forward than using it any other way, i was wondering if someone could help me with some techniques to generate speed in the stance, also i can do the back-side, but i'm actually having more trouble on the normal sidestance, because my foot just won't turn around fully, any ideas on that?

thanks!

 hello,

i'm kindof new here in an attempt to push my rollerskating a bit further than it is at the moment.
i've been rollerskting for the last 5 or 6 years orso but because i know nobody in the neighbourhood (south/west holland) i've been getting a bit stuck on the same stuff.
(no parks either). i've got a couple of RSI rollerskates (www.rsi.nl) standard quads with high leather shoes, very comfortable and stable(base is lightweight carbon, 59mm rollerskatewheels). so the question is if anyone could help me with some info on how to make my skates more suitable for stunting(or do i just ditch these and build a new pair from scratch?), i'm mostly interested in agressive street and vert.

thanks for your time

You can do a lot with your skates. If you get more serious with vert skating, you will at least need hard wheels. Maybe broaders trucks for grinding and some construction for sliding. But first you should learn to ride the ramp. When you are confident with pushing, airials and dropping in it's probably time to upgrade your skates.

Remember: It#'s mire important to go out ans skate than to have the ultimate skate (which doesn't exist anyway). More than one roller skater forgot to skate on the quest for the ultimate skate.

Yep. Rollerskating is Great!

I´m not a side stance rider myself, but Brian Wainwright did some explanations on it. You can find the link ikn the resources üage of this site.
