OK need to get in shape!
: I need to get the whole backside of my legs in better shape. Should I strength train, if so how, or rollerskate on the streets some or just cross train?

If you can find a gym to work out in, they have machines that will work every muscle in your legs (as well as the rest of your body). Running also builds up leg muscles. And one of the best work outs for legs is swimming.
