: : Did you test ride them on the street? What do you think about their turning ability? Pros/Cons?
:
: I have been to Kirchzarten with Sven who has giiven them some testing on the mini ramp there. He's been doing some lip tricks there but to me the steering action was too soft for my style of ramp riding. I will have to try to adjust this some time. However, I tried them out a bit in the confines of this very small skate park. Their turning ability seems to be quite OK to me.
:
: One caveat, however: you can't just use any shoes. The first time I tried them, I had a pair of shoes which had their soles stick out from under them. In this way riding becomes quite instable because the front axle gets behind the pad of your foot. But with some basketball shoes they were quite comfortable. ((Denny wrote: I would recommend Van's skateboard shoes,it really helps to have the thickly padded tounge to protect against pressure points on top of foot. Also pick a shoe with the narrowest sole you can find, this will prevent pushing the "wings" out into wheel articulation area. Factory tips courtesy of V Dog Denny, peace out Happy V Skating))
