Rollerboy is a feature-length documentary following the life of former world champion roller and inline skater, Jayson Sutcliffe. Having grown up on skates, roller skating is more than just a sport - it's the only way of life he's ever known. Jayson speaks candidly to former national skating champion and close friend, actress Melissa George and reveals the tenacity and determination of a young boy destined to be a champion. This film explores the camaraderie and rivalry of elite competition, the struggles and sacrifices to aim for gold and glory, about family and friendship, the search for sexual identity and the end of things...of childhood, and retirement from a life-time of skating, as well as untimely deaths.
