|I rarely do stretching in connection with skating. I do stretch after jogging, however. More than 15 years ago I started to have problems with my knees. Since I do stretching after jogging, those went away. Some years later I had an inflammation at my achilles' tendon. I tried to resolve this by going easy on it but it wouldn't get better for two years. Then I started to stretch my achilles' tendon and it started to go better. Since then, I also do stretching for then achilles' tendon after jogging. Sometimes I also do a bit of stretching when skating and it probably would be a good idea to do more of it. But as you can see, I am very reactice with stretching.
