Good Old Dayzzzz
: : : : Hey John,
: : : :
: : : : that's a very nice shot!
: : : :
: : : : Cool to see you here. So you still ride your skates?
: : :
: : : Flat land only ...:-(
: :
: : That's a pity! Though much better than not be riding at
: all. Nothing can beat the feeling of having roller skates under your feet! But a bit of transition every now and then would be even better ...
: :
:
: I can thank my orthopedic surgeon that I can even still skate … 6 knee surgeries and 2 shoulder surgeries … heck I’m the Bionic skater!
:
: Ya, the skate contests took a toll on my body, but I would sure do it again! More photos, I don’t have that many, and I don’t have any video (wish I did). I used to do some fun tricks that would scare the “you know what” out of spectators at the contests. My favorite was to skate around the rim of a pool and at the last second, spin around then drop in backwards. It was fun to watch the people turn their heads away expecting a total splat.
:
: I sure miss those days, but I still have my Tracker skates.
