Need your opinion
Hi Ryan,

I am really just looking for a plate to latch on to the coping. I don't care about sliding, but I think the plastic will keep the metal from bending as well as put the plate a bit closer to the coping.

: Sounds like mechanically it shouldn't be a problem, more like what will matter is if the action you will be getting with the slider in this position will suit your style ? Have you done any testing with sliders at different heights?

: : I have realized that my plates are not designed very good for attaching plastic sliders. I had a thought today and want to know what you think. I was thinking I could get a jump bar and attach it under the nut so it is close to the bottom of the plate. I will then screw a plastic slider to the medal jump bar. I am thinking this will keep the jump bar from bending and it will be exactly where I want to latch on. Anyone see anything wrong with this idea?
