 I think Scott Olsen (the founder of Rollerblade and later of SwitchIt) was into similar stuff in the last millenium. His SwitchIt skates allowed the inline wheel base to be replaced by an ice blade. There where talks that he put ice on a mini ramp and rode it with ice blades.

 Roces has a Tempexta Alu that converts from recreational blades to ice blades. I also found a website dedicated to the inventors of the idea for ice ramps and aggressive ufs compatible ice blades. HERE is a pic of their prototype.

 Virtually every 3 year old in North America starts ice skating on a pair of those. We don't have the doorlopers like they have in Europe.
