Each wheel has a spring shock absorber. Should be fairly strong. Could use a couple more straps on each foot though.

Do you also have a link to a web site featuring those skates? I didn't find anything when searching for "Skorprian Multi-Terrain Skates".

I agree with you that they probably aren't suitable for vertical rollerskating. But they are sufficiently crazy that I would like to try them out. I would be interesting to see how well they handle wet situations. Are the bearings waterproof, for example?

And how to get them? How does the price translate into Euros?

Paul, you raised a lot of questions ...

Hi Sarah: I have a friend who has a skate shop in Oxford called SS-20. Mon Barbour is his name and he is a rollerskater himself and I would be that he has skates and it is possible that he could tell you where in London to hook up.

Yes indeed. Mon does still ride altho it's been a little while since we skated together. But should have a session together soon as his wheels project vert ramp has recentley been resurfaced and we've talked about skating soon. just so you know, brian Mon is getting wed in september and i'm best man. so we'll both be rollerskaters with wives.  In London - try Skate Attack if you are in North London around Chalk Farm. Service a little bit surly. They specialise in hockey, but have a load of quad stuff.
If in surrey - try Mayfair Skates in Ewell/Epsom - lots of old stock - even sims streetsnakes.
