Me ripping it in the pool(still with xsjados, though)
That post made me smile. Just be careful not to burst my ego, it's pretty swollen up already, these days.

When I started inlining (after a year of boarding, I switched because I didn't want to wait an extra two years for airs) I still felt like a skateboarder. The only thing I could and wanted to do on my skateboard was carving anyway. When I borrow a skateboard, and I'm lucky enough the trucks aren't too loose or stiff and the bearings are good, I can still make a nice run. Although it's not what it's been, of course.
So I think the biggest difference between me and the average inliner, is experience with the board and the motivation to even take on ramps instead of rails.

So, what do you think?
By the way, did I mention I've skateboarded a year before switching to inline skates?

Got some secondhand skis now. Now just wheels, bearings, trucks and nuts, screws and eventually riser/shock pads.

I'm so excited! I just got all the parts needed!

I'll take pictures and make an instructable.com entry for it.

Nice. Riding fakie is a good talent to develop! I'm working on that right now as well, but you are much better at pumping fakie than I am.

That was great. You actually skate like a quad skater. Most inline skaters don't know how to carve and you were killing it. I have even been told inline skaters can't carve and you proved that statement wrong. I think you will pick up quad skating ver fast. Awesome job bro.

Nice, wish I could do fakie like that! If you like to carve, roller skates are for you. Inlines are better for the rail thing.
