So i go to the Skatepark to get my other box of Ricta Naturals and it turns out they didn\'t even order them, so have to wait til Tuesday now for them to turn up :(

Did manage to snag a pair of kizer inline frames for free, though they\'re slimline so not really mountable. Decided just to reshape the old inline frames i was using and they seem fine for the time being. Not paying for a new set, so I\'ll just see if i can get a hold of some more used ones when i start frequenting the skatepark.

Also managed to grab a few sets of inlines from charity shops for proper cheap (those slider attachments come in handy as do having spare bearings, wheels and boot liners). I need to use one of the liners infact to make ankle pads as I\'ve found my boots are giving me a bit of rub in that area.
Does anyone know what purpose those wire strap things that wrap over the laces serve on the inlines, or are they just aesthetic?

Just need to do the other boot now and cut the fronts of the skis off, then await my other box of Rictas turning up.

Also note my new coffee mug which is awesome :P

Thanks for recommending the Rictas. Even though i ain\'t ridden them yet, i put the one boot that has em on and felt how they roll and they feel like butter, super smooth.

  Well, Begun!
And I LOVE the Coffee Mug! Of course, I don't actually drink coffee......would it look silly drinking tea out of a Man Mug like that? LOL!
Keep us posted on construction progress.

PEACE
Jay

You wouldn\'t look silly drinking anything out of a man mug as long as you chug it.

cool treasure finds... where'd u get that mug?!!!
those straps help to keep your heels locked into your boots. i have super long laces that wrap around like that... same concept. at one point, i considered making such straps attached to the boot heel.
can't wait to see your setup when it's done

I got the mug for the princely sum of £1 GBP from a charity (thrift)shop. I buy everything i can from em, even all my clothes. I've gotten all sorts of stuff that woulda cost a fortune for a few pounds. Plus your giving to charity, so everyone wins :)

 Got em finished :)

Didn't end up goin round my dads in the end, but bought a pack of hacksaw blades and ended up breakin another 5 just to get the ends of the skis cut off. The metal edges at the bottom are super tough!! Plus the blades were cheap anyway.
But I'm pleased with the results.

Now i can go to skatepark tomorrow, and hopefully they'll have my other box of Rictas in.

Gold Two: [the Y-wings are running the gauntlet toward the Death Star reactor-port] The guns - they've stopped!
Gold Five: [realizes why] Stabilize your rear deflectors... Watch for enemy fighters.
Gold Leader: They're coming in! Three marks at 2-10!
[Gold Two is slain by Darth Vader and his wingmen; Gold Leader starts to panic]
Gold Leader: It's no good, I can't maneuver!
Gold Five: Stay on target.
Gold Leader: *We're too close!*
Gold Five: Stay on target!
Gold Leader: [shouts] Loosen up!
[he too is picked off by Vader and Company; Gold Five tries to escape but is fatally winged]
Gold Five: Gold Five to Red leader, lost Tiree, lost Dutch.
Red Leader: I copy, Gold Leader.
Gold Five: It came from... behind!
