Question about starting over
Hi All,

I have skated about 7 times since not rollerskating for about 13 years. I stopped inline skating Vert about three years ago. My first couple of days were really hard adjusting from inline to quads and just remembering how to skate. I am starting to feel very comfortable again. My question is once you feel good on the street does Vert come back pretty easily?

Hi Robert, as you are not a beginner, at least a your nervous sytem still have the memory of it, vert comes back very easily and fast: few days or weeks. Your muscles may hurt at the beginings, but ones they adapt and you get more confident, just fun and more and more fun as you will rapidly recover and progress!!! Don't forget yours pads....

As we all get older, it is really important to stretch before skating (and after, too). This should also reduce muscle soreness. It will feel good to ride transition again. Take it easy, have fun and remember to practice falling (on your pads, hopefully). Good Luck!
