2 more months, i hope!
: surgery was mild compared to last one.

What did they say with respect to the operation? Did everything go well? Did they say anything about how long/difficult/successful recovery will be?

: not much pain, just cant put weight on it.

You can look forward to being able to put weight on it much sooner than it was the case with my knee surgery where the quadriceps tendon had to heal before I could start putting weight on my left leg.

: i hope get cast off in oct.

That would be great!

: staying in bed w/ leg elevated is hardest.

In my case that wasn't too bad except that it did not help with loosing weight. ;-) Since I enjoy reading a lot, I'm not bored that much in bed.

Funily enough 8 year olds come and see me and I custom make knee braces for them.As a wetsuit company,we also do a lot of orthapedic supports out of neoprene so if your realy stuck I would be more than happy to make you one,or you could buy an elbow support that fits your leg.
by the by,,I like to eat and pee too,but not at the same time.

lol, after surgery how to GET to eat and pee will be my focus hahahaha.
i think i just need to buy foam to thicken my leg. its a good knee brace. metal hinges and neoprene makes my leg itch after awhile. i just have zero income for now so wont buy anything. can you make stuff out of fabric? twisting does shit to ur knees so i would like to make something later with lateral support. bad knees are a bad deal.

That's really good news. It wouldn't be easy to handle a flood in your situation. It would be nasty enough when all limps where ship-shape.

i have a patio with sliding glass doors thats 4 feet below ground. luckily a year ago when i was flooded, they dug these ditches on top so rain wouldnt flood my patio. does good esp. since my drain doesnt really work i found out today. i have only 3" to my glass door and we had 6-7" of rain. so yep, extremely lucky! moving a 6' x 9' cage would be impossible now.

just even more so bored lol.

surgery was mild compared to last one. not much pain, just cant put weight on it. i look like i got mest up in iraq, thick bandaging and white stocking covering my leg. knee surgery isnt so bad. worst pain my arm still. i hope get cast off in oct. and can have fun again then. just very bored. staying in bed w/ leg elevated is hardest. i hope arm heals now finally. that was much bigger deal then imagined. thanks bernhard!!

seems surgery was easy but since i was under the influence and noone was there to pick me up, he said he couldnt tell me anything yet. i didnt see pics of what he did. i guess i will have to wait until the 22nd. i have to take one enteric coated aspirin for 15 days. its to prevent blood clots. then i thought if i ever get a bump on me, that might prevent hematomas too! wish i knew. just hope it doesnt irritate my stomach.

weird thing, after surgery coming home my butt and feet started itching really bad, so did my leg somewhat hahaha. i guess allergic reaction. allergic to iodine and i had red/orange stuff all over my leg so maybe they goofed. surgery was old 20 mins or less. just no drugs which made me high afterwards which was very disappointing to me, :-( thats all i asked besides being restored to perfectly new/ my knee was all ok otherwise so i think it went well.

i am not sure how fast recovery is. no running, squats or deep bends for 1 month. i can walk and try stationary bike if tolerated in a few days. didnt get to eat much yesterday but i have food in fridge. and by next week i can get out to get more. i have one crutch but if i cant hold weight and walk much, i guess i can try for backpack for some food? i have the special parking spaces sticker!! also means i can park and not pay meters so hopefully my friends want to take me out soon!! ;-D

u guys r so cool! i'm just bored. the knee thing is healing quick! i can already walk some. :-D in a month my knee will be better then it has been for a year. i will finally be able to do 360s again now and jump and run and jump and run and jump and run oh my lol! i'm still worried about my arm. i'm sure that will never be 100%. cant believe how f*&ked up that got. but right arm isnt so needed for sk8n. i look like i came out of iraq right now lol. tomorrow i can take off the bandages to see what scars i might have. i soooo miss rollin! i cant wait to roll. even if its just longboarding. in 2 months my knee will be good. im so happy u and Bernhard are getting back into things. i will start slow myself. maybe in a year i will be back to where i was. i'll be so stinking happy when i can post a pic of me in my rollersk8s again with a smile bigger then my face can fit! if i can, one day i will move to Oz. This country isnt going to get better it seems. so glad to hear u r doing better, so no surgery eh? ;-D gosh, poor me, i'm dying from boredom!! one more day of lying in bed....

: : : weird thing, after surgery coming home my butt and feet started itching really bad, so did my leg somewhat hahaha. i guess allergic reaction. allergic to iodine and i had red/orange stuff all over my leg so maybe they goofed. surgery was old 20 mins or less. just no drugs which made me high afterwards which was very disappointing to me, :-( thats all i asked besides being restored to perfectly new/ my knee was all ok otherwise so i think it went well.
: : :
: : : i am not sure how fast recovery is. no running, squats or deep bends for 1 month. i can walk and try stationary bike if tolerated in a few days. didnt get to eat much yesterday but i have food in fridge. and by next week i can get out to get more. i have one crutch but if i cant hold weight and walk much, i guess i can try for backpack for some food? i have the special parking spaces sticker!! also means i can park and not pay meters so hopefully my friends want to take me out soon!! ;-D
: : :
: : : : : surgery was mild compared to last one.
: : : :
: : : : What did they say with respect to the operation? Did everything go well? Did they say anything about how long/difficult/successful recovery will be?
: : : :
: : : : : not much pain, just cant put weight on it.
: : : :
: : : : You can look forward to being able to put weight on it much sooner than it was the case with my knee surgery where the quadriceps tendon had to heal before I could start putting weight on my left leg.
: : : :
: : : : : i hope get cast off in oct.
: : : :
: : : : That would be great!
: : : :
: : : : : staying in bed w/ leg elevated is hardest.
: : : :
: : : : In my case that wasn't too bad except that it did not help with loosing weight. ;-) Since I enjoy reading a lot, I'm not bored that much in bed.

knee is a little stiff and sore today but not painful at all like my arm. nothing will knock me down after that! when i said it felt like i was being repeatedly stabbed, that wasnt an exaggeration. so soreness is mild in comparison. but i'm STOKED. realized now not only will i be able to do the 360s, and run and jump. but soon enough i will be able to bend down really LOW to sit on my heels again. know what this means for sk8n? AWESOME!! i'm bored but will be able to stay up more and get out by tomorrow!! i cant wait to sk8 lol...... Robert, any new pics/videos? if i get my cast off in Oct, i want to start a vert painting of all you guys rippin!

yes I'm gimpy! well, only 3 stitches in there, 2 on left, 1 on right. so thats it for knee surgery. slightly puffy but not too bad considering. i wonder if my right knee is mest up too lol? i wont show the stitches cause i dont want anyone to feel ill but i say this looks like i came back from Iraq cause still in cast too lol? and there was orange stuff all over my leg so i think they put iodine on me which states an allergy on my wristband, so they screwed up. i'm ok, just so freaking bored!! no, not derby girl, never. i couldnt slam a soul honestly.... there must be a monster under my bed i think that beats me in the middle of the night lol. Irene, u r tougher then me. i will pee my pants next time i drop in on vert. ok where are the new videos for my entertainment? ;-D
