First day on the street!
YAY!!

Enjoy it to the fullest. Though, I know you are already doing that.

Cheers!
Biff

: Well no letter yet and tomorrow I get the stitches out, so hopefully 1/2 step forward lol.
:
: I got the 24" wheel race BMX. I went off the curbs and speed bumps. Now I feel a ton better since I cant do that on my skates and been DYING to do that lol.
:
: : Take 1 step forward........now take 2 steps backwards. :P
: :
: : Cheers!

: : : I'm happy to rollerskate but still miss the bowls! A LOT!! I hope insurance works out. Since I own a car, I cant get state medical. You cant have anything to get that. And the other chain stores of the bike shop I work at are down on sales so that means they wont hire me full time now. So soon I'll be looking for secretary work or whatever that is full time with benes to get insurance lol. Noones hiring full time in this area!!!!!

I finally rollerskated on the street! It was fun but scary at first. I just went fast in a fairly level empty parking lot. I have the rainskates 59mm 85a wheels. Should I put kryptonics on it? What are fun things (safe) that I can practice besides sidestance. Jumping off the curbs is out but thats the first desire that comes to mind lol. This is not normal I'm sure.....

Skating in a really smooth underground parking garage is fun! Do it , of course, when there are no cars about. Night time is the best.....as long as it is lit. I wouldn't take any ramps that are too steep.

Cheers!

I agree with Biff, as usual. Parking garages that are well scouted beforehand for:Renta-Cops,Tight curves, speed bumps, parking blocks, columns & of course CARS are always fun. But be careful. And wear all your pads!!!
PEACE..................Jay

I love all you guys! Thanks for letting me share my minuscule feats. :-D
Yes, even wearing helmet on the rollerskates.

Hey, the parking garages here say No Bicycles, skateboards, rollerblades. If I went after the work hours or weekends, think I would get in big trouble still? They are pretty strict here with us evil folks lol. That parking lot I roll on is fairly smooth and all and empty.

My biggest problem is I still want (actually CRAVE) to jump off something on my wheels and get a rush lol. So I decided not to get a longboard deck for now as I'm not sure if I can not want to bomb down hills with it, sold my old non bouncy mountain bike, I had 2 MTBs so keeping the fun one, and I'm getting a race 24" wheel BMX (Haro Race). Its so light so I can jump off mild stuff, lift/maneuver it easily. This way I can satisfy my impulses without much risk as I never fall off a bike. I love working at a bike shop! I'm trying to be safe until my Dr. says my arm is 100% and insurance is OK but still be happy. Hope this is good enough because I dont have much else to sell lol.

So far, I still have insurance, stitches out in 2 days! Arm just itches now, like mad. But I peaked. No butt crack on my arm!!!! Its all smooth like normal again. Just looks thinner now without the implant.

Keep up the pics/vids as at least I can get off on those. Love the uni but still missing the bowls.

I would bet on it. Some years ago, I forgot my street roller skates in a train. They have a "lost and found" hotline which I kept calling. They kept telling my they don't have them. I could't imagine anybody stealing my beat-up old-fashioned roller skates so I was pretty sure that they should have them. So finally I asked them to look under "inline skates". They actually filed them in their database under "inline skates"! Well, I stayed frienldy on the phone since I was so happy that I could get them bag for a not-so-small amount of money.

To get to the point: They will tell you that your roller skates are inline skates or at least the same in their mind.
