: Claudine, AFLAC is not insurance. It only covers accidents such as falling while skating. It does not cover medical such as sickness. I have also been told that group policies cover all employees and there are no pre-existing conditions. Getting insurance on your own is a whole different deal. I looked into getting my own insurance after my surgery and nobody would insure me.
