Irene......
Good luck! I think if I skated any wider, I would smack something good!

I will tomorrow anyways. Its supposed to be nice and I will take the first dive into the bowl. :-D So I should think go fast, turn left like speed skating lol?

Now I will have to check out my vert skates and I'm sure they are all off. But they skate fine as far as I can tell.........

: I think I have 2 defective (Indy 109mm) hangars. I took apart the problem skate and all seemed straight, nothing torquing. I then reassembled and put on the Krux 3.0 hangars into the Krux baseplates and voila, all wheels are now level. Not happy with the extra wide hangars, but I will get used to it and probably love it. I hope to be able to try them out this Sat on the vert ramp.

: : I just got a set of skates off ebay and I asked about how I tell if certain things are OK, etc.

: : For bent axels, I was told to do this:
: : "an easy way to spot check an axle is to mount up a good set of wheels....and place the skate on a surface you know to be flat. Look to see that the wheels touch the surface evenly, that the end opposite the truck isn't lifted slightly. Axles will generally bend up, not down. This won't work with old, worn wheels, as they'll wear more on the outsides."

: : So looks like your skates have a bent axel? Well, I have one on these skates too lol.
