for those pads, 1/4" also. but motorcross is for higher impacts so the foam is denser he said. also more mobile with better protection. also the plastic is stronger so they are more durable. any opinions? i know w/ PD, I wont be able to move my arm. and if the 1" foam is the same as 1/4" dense foam, plus PD are $60 more, I donno.....

: I got a response back from the Fox Launch elbow pads which I assume are equal or greater then the kids version. There is just 1/4" padding there. So seems like motorcross gear is more protective against abrasion and less on impact? I think PD are better. 1" padding. They take up my whole arm and I will have a custom brace to my elbow for support.
