| here's a couple of solutions I picked up from Mon Barbour & Jason Tubbs in the 80s. They both utilise zytel plates - Variflex and something called Pro8. The version on the Variflex gives most stability on slides, but is rather high. Jason Tubb got around this by building the whole lot up with skateboard riser pads and more rails. The Pro8 version was less stable but lower, which made it slightly more suitable for ACS580s, which I found suited me.
